My Life is Funny

I began writing feature stories when I was a second year high school student. I was always severe then in my themes. probably I thought writing should always be severe. I had no idea yet associated with writing formats and style. yet having a father whose sense of humor flows to the brim, I have been exposed to jokes that he themselves contorted or was this copied or heard from I-don't-know-where. My Dad has a cunning capability of converting any dried out or tense situation in to something relaxed, fun-filled plus warm occasion. He is one of those persons who can do a mockery of the powerful, the highly regarded and the not-so-respected-but-feared individuals in our place and get away with it. Unconsciously, I was immersed in a training that I would only find out I have been trained with later on in my adult life. Since then, I have been less active in writing but I have been more comfortable informing stories, especially funny tales.

I have discovered that will life is funny. Yes, due to the fact life is a story. You can create it the way you want it. I would very well agree with Thomas deb. Willhite when he said that a person's future is formed by the ideas he holds most often in his mind. A person's life is exactly what he thinks it is at the moment. Life is defined by how you react on a given scenario and how you perceive the situation to be. I cannot forget the tale told by the father associated with Frank Avignale in the film Catch Me If You Can. The story tells of two little rodents that fell on a container of milk. The first computer mouse struggled by swimming a little bit but soon gave up plus drowned - and passed away immediately. The second mouse battled so hard, paddled in sectors and turned the dairy into cheese - and eventually pulled himself out of the container.

Funny is not being carefree and discursive.

Funny is a state of mind, very much like being good and happy. My Dad is a happy person - this individual chose to be one. And I thank him for the coaching that I got from him -- telling funny stories. That is why I am funny - I chose to be one.
